I received a CPAP machine and supplies November 2018. My insurance at the time was United Healthcare. Everything was fine up until January 1, 2019 when our insurance carrier changed over to Cigna. Good lord. I spoke to two patient account managers and gave them the new...

My wife, who died 5 January 2018, had an oxygen concentrator from Apria. In Feburary or March of that year, I returned it. Today, 2 March 2019, I got a letter from Apria saying that my insurance company is denying their bills. Which is understandable, since (1) they...

Apria - Communication and customer service

Contacted numerous times with a response that I would receive a call concerning a new CPAP because a replacement was required. No call backs, despite promises, and very poor commitment to customers. If you have an option do business with a competitor that offers better service. Apria sets the low bar, so exceeding their customer service would be very simple.

My wife & I were prescribed CPAP machines. Got them in 12/17 under our insurance plan, insurance paid for rental until 2/18 when it was converted to a purchase. Apria submitted to the insurance company for coverage and payment. It took until 10/18 for Apria to get...

There was a small gap in our insurance of a few months, and therefore we legitimately owe Apria some money. We will gladly pay, but we need to see an itemized bill, and not just blindly pay over the phone. Even a itemized bill via email would be sufficient. They say...

Never, never, ever give Apria your credit card. You will regret it. Demand to be billed. If they say no, call the attorney general's office consumer protection agency.

Apria - Double billing

I have been paying for my cpap and supplies for 2 years. Blue cross informed me my machine was paid for after 10 months. Blue cross denied their charges and they billed me instead. Their rag head billing dept. cant speak english and I have told them they will not get their equipment back until I get a big refund check in my hand.
