New ReviewerApria Healthcare is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with due to questionable billing practices, incompetent employees, harassing phone calls and terrible customer service. Writing a complaint on this Board won’t change Apria’s behavior so the best thing to do is deny them your money by taking the following actions: 1.
Take your business elsewhere by changing your service provider and buying your CPAP supplies such as filters, hoses, mask cushions, etcetera’s at a fraction of the cost on Amazon, eBay and other sites. 2. Spread the word on Twitter and other Social Media sites that can persuade potential customers to avoid Apria and sign up with another medical supply company. 3.
Write a complaint letter to the President of your insurance company requesting that Apria be dropped as a preferred service provider citing your bad experience; the existence of this Board; and the Better Business Board website that gave Apria Healthcare an “F” rating. Be sure to copy your state’s Insurance Commissioner; Consumer Affairs Representative; and Apria’s President. Apria sucks. Cpap machine is supposed to be mine after 10 months.
We are on month 18 and I still get bills. Now, my insurance company, GEHA is trying to get them to stop billing.
They are incompetent and the rep will say they will escalate and call me. However, they never call..Time to take them to small claims court.
Their billing practices keep me on "edge".. Send me bills for something they supposedly provided months ago. Mike
My M.D from Kaiser ordered supplies for my husband tracheostomy care and Apria refuse to send it, although they saw the order.
Most of Apria's business is Medicare reimbursed. Suggest you contact Medicare about issues especially billing.
I complained about a billing by doctor for visit which never took place.
Medicare investigated and I got a letter of apology from the doctor! Medicare does care about billing errors, fraudulent billing, and product not received, damaged etc.
I work for Apria and I can tell you unequivocally, they just don't care. It is the worst company I have ever worked for, hands down.
